You Have a Pretty Website…So What?

By

What good is a site if no one sees it? Unless you learn how to build a website that attracts quality traffic…you might as well skip Internet Marketing. There is no “build it and they will come” process going on here. Building a website that actually gets visitors is no simple task on today’s Internet. Your pages, among 10 or so BILLION (at least) other pages, can quite easily get lost in the crowd.

My focus with Weber Internet Marketing is to help people overcome the traffic obstacle. Once your site gets any significant traffic, it is then EASY to make money. There are many options for monetizing a site that gets significant traffic.

How much income that traffic generates depends on:

  • How targeted the traffic is.
  • How quickly visitors hit the “back button” upon arriving at your site.
  • How great your offer is and how well you present it.
  • Also, are you building a list with that traffic or just relying on one-time visitors?

There are no tricks or “secret” formulas for getting traffic. Of course you can always PAY for traffic with Google AdWords or other PayPerClick service, but why not get all the FREE traffic you can before paying for it? Attracting free traffic to your website simply involves these steps:

  • Settle on a small niche you are interested in and can compete in.
  • Learn how to create a simple, search engine friendly website.
  • Study SEO and apply it to your content.
  • Create a LOT of content for your site, article directories, etc.
  • Do whatever else it takes to boost traffic…, video marketing, social media, etc.
  • Have patience. Good results will take months of dedicated and well focused effort.

It really is just that simple. If you are new and still “learning the ropes”, begin with my 12 steps at the top of this page. Learn the basic skills and then apply Relentless Focused Action!

  1. Steve,

This is so true! I have gone with pretty sites that have converted horribly, to sites that I do not think looked that great that converted much better. And…the bottom line is eyeballs. If you don’t drive traffic to your site, you’ve got nothing. No business. No income. Nothing! 95% of the people who attempt to make money online do not realize how hard it is to get targeted traffic that will convert.

    Regards,
    Mike

I agree with what you said except for one thing….I think the number is 99% instead of 95%

Although I give away a LOT of info, I do promote some third party products that I use and find great value in.
Usually, I will receive a commission when these products are purchased from this site.
But as I said, I NEVER promote anything unless I find it valuable in my own business.
