Hosting Your Site: Video Tutorials

Host UNLIMITED Domains

Compared to building a brick and mortar business, an online business is dirt cheap to begin. But it is NOT totally free! The old saying, “It takes money to make money” still applies. Unfortunately, many of those new to online marketing believe they should be able to do so for no cost at all.

Serious marketers do not use “free sites” for their main site!

I Suggest Either the $4.95 or $7.95
(the $7.95 is for unlimited domain hosting)

I’m not sure where that idea came from, but those beginning Internet marketing should understand which costs are required to begin.

One of the costs is hosting. Your site needs a reliable server to host your web pages. There are many hosting companies available which are highly reliable and inexpensive.

Host UNLIMITED Domains

I suggest their $7.95 plan (the Baby plan). With it you can host UNLIMITED domains with just that one account! That’s right. You can host unlimited blogs and/or sites with this low monthly cost.

This host FULLY SUPPORTS all the WordPress plugins I suggest. Not all hosting does!

Plus you get these benefits with the Baby Package:

  • Unlimited disk space
  • Unlimited bandwidth
  • 24×7 support (I love their instant chat support!)
  • Fully backed up
  • No contracts
  • 99.9% uptime guaranteed
  • Unlimited add-ons
  • Unlimited FTP accounts
  • WordPress is FULLY SUPPORTED
  • PHP 5
  • Unlimited email accounts
  • IMAP support
  • cPanel administration
  • Instant forum installs
  • Custom error pages
  • Shopping cart support

By the way, I like GoDaddy for Domain Registration, but I HATE their hosting now days. They have a very SLOW backend and they DO NOT SUPPORT all the important WordPress plugins I use!

  1. Steve,

I was out there “winging it” and got the $12.95 a month plan. Should I change it to the $8 a month one?

    Thanks.

    Robin

  2. Steve says:

Yes, for your needs, just get the 7.95 plan.

Steve I want to make my first blog with wordpress. Perhaps this shows my ignorance but could I start with wordpress.com and then switch over to WordPress.org after I have my content up and the layout figured out. I expect it will take me some time to get comfortable and build content.

  4. Steve says:

No, I think you misread… I do NOT suggest using the .org version for your main site ever. And if you start with their .com version, you’ll just have to worry about the exporting of it, etc. later.

Honestly, if you have any idea how much easier it is just to learn how to make a site with WordPress on your own host with your own domain compared to the “old days”, you’d jump for joy.

Just spend a few days learning how to do it the right way in the beginning. So what if you have to spend a few days really studying and learning how to do it…you’ll have the skill then and you can move on to the important stuff. Spend an hour watching all the WordPress videos on my site. Then you’ll see how easy it is. ….anyone can do this.

    Hi
Mr.Steve, I know about Hostgator but they are very rude to customer. Before joining they are very good to act but after joining they do not give full support to the customer. Can you manage if I join Hostgator through your link? How it is WP hosting in Ipower?

  6. Steve says:

I’ve dealt with HostGator for several years now and have many sites hosted with them. I’ve not had (or heard of) any negative stories about their customer service. I am not sure what you are asking about me “managing” for you, but you can sure come here to ask questions anytime. Plus, I have LOT of hosting tutorials on my site for cPanel and WordPress. I don’t know anything about ipower. But HostGator is 100% WordPress compatible.

    Hi Steve,
I just switched my hosting from GoDaddy to HostGator through your link. You got me started online early last year and though it’s taken time and I’m still tweaking I think you’re one of the top go-to guys for value and assistance. Thanks for giving great value to anyone striving to create an online presence.

  13. Sam Graham says:

    hi Steve,
I’m the one with the iPad! Well good news is I now have a computer. I’ve just bought a domain name and 2 years of hosting through ‘ go daddy’. Initially it seemed very straightforward but now can’t find website! Anyway, I got a bit confused I thought I set the website up with someone like ‘ go daddy’ and then WordPress did the hosting. Can I get a website from WordPress too or am I barking up the wrong tree?
    thanks
    Sam.

  14. Steve says:

Hi Sam, I just replied to your email. I do not suggest godaddy for hosting. They are not 100% compatible with all the important WordPress plugins I use.

Although I give away a LOT of info, I do promote some third party products that I use and find great value in.
Usually, I will receive a commission when these products are purchased from this site.
But as I said, I NEVER promote anything unless I find it valuable in my own business.
