Steve’s Story
My wife Kay and I live on 10 wooded acres with our five dogs in what most would call a remote area of Northwest Oklahoma. We are 50 miles from the nearest Wal-Mart and our closest town is so small it doesn’t have a stop light! We LOVE it here! Our other interests include running, stained and fused glass art, pottery, metal art, and gardening.
I began my journey on the Internet while teaching science in a small school in Western Oklahoma in 1994. With only a home dial-up connection, I was intrigued by the possibilities and spent as many hours as I could afford on the web (I had to pay by the minute back then!). Although just in its infancy, I knew the Internet would change my life.
In 1998, I applied for and got a job as Network Administrator for a technology school. Although my dreams of doing some type of online business never died, they were put on hold for a number of years as I settled into my new job. In 2004 we decided to get serious about learning Internet marketing.
We started an eBay business at first and then developed a “real” website selling nutritional products at CactusCanyon.com. Although we still operate Cactus Canyon, we have since added several other Internet businesses. Within a few years we were both able to quit our full-time jobs in education and now work from home!
Kay was a special education teacher at the same school I worked at. Although we both enjoyed our jobs, we wanted more control and freedom over our day to day activities and, most of all, we wanted out of the “rat race” – the Internet worked perfectly into the equation. Even from our country home in Oklahoma, we had access to millions of customers on the Internet.
We had created an enormous opportunity for ourselves! Our success with CactusCanyon.com created much interest in Internet marketing among our friends and family; they were very interested in how we were able to succeed online. I realized then I had a perfect opportunity for combining my love of teaching with my passion for Internet marketing.

I came upon DATAWORX and in trying it out came to a point where they take me through the different stages show me where to copy the URL but to paste it , thats where i am getting stuck.
The PayDotCom has been created , but still i’m struggelling and thats how i came upon you. The Dataworx people moved office so their line is only accessable from the 25/07/2011.
I followed a short video of yours about 8-min long, but is still not certain where to paste the copied URL.
Can you perhaps assist me with more direct show what to do.

I have been juggling my main time consuming job and my desire to get somewhere in IM since Oct 2010. I have learned there is so much out there. Sometimes too much. That being said I enjoyed your bio and I am thinking you would be the person to help guide me. So here’s to hoping. So far I have focused on amazon affialte which seems to be hot right now. Though I have not had much success yet I hope I can get on the right track. The other bit is adsense which I dabbled in and made like 20 dollars that they do not send till 100. So all that being said I enjoy your site and what you have acheived sounds really great.

Dear sir i am still stuck at how to fill this steps of getting to work online.Its just that i am willing to do but for me its had to follow those instructions if you can email a video of how to get start i would be greatful because i dont have formally education, this year im i would be having thirteen years i left school because health,and i borth laptop for jobs like this to do them that was the money for dirsabilty grant.If you helped me succesuly i will futher my studys.

I have been interested in an internet business/affiliate marketing for many years and have bought into so many programs and wasted so much money all with no results they are either too hard to understand or there are missing pieces to the information I am very confused with all the info and hype out there . Being a newbie I need step by step easy to understand instructions on how to start and virtually taking me by the hand.
I prefer email contact as I like to revise what has been written although one day I would like to talk to you personally.
